ABOUT VAUGHN RYAN

"My style of acupuncture is gentle and not overcomplicating. Early on in my career I made a conscious decision, under the guidance of my mentor Ross Penman, to define this style of acupuncture. I treat by using the internal environment, coupled with the external environment to influence change in the body"

Vaughn is an experienced and qualified acupuncturist and herbalist. After running a successful practice in Sydney’s North West and Hills district, Vaughn has now established himself closer to home in Drummoyne. Vaughn is now a sought after Acupuncturist amongst Sydney's inner west community from Balmain, Rozelle, Drummoyne, Hunters Hill, Birchgrove and Leichardt, to Five Dock and Concord.

His style of Classical Acupuncture embraces the holistic approach of the Han dynasty, a period in history that is widely acknowledged as the “golden era” of acupuncture. As a result, Vaughn has a much deeper understanding for the original techniques of Acupuncture and their benefits.

Vaughn focuses on the treatment and management of many different health disorders, including:

  • Male and female fertility care
    Pregnancy
    Female health
    Stress and anxiety
    Sinus congestion and allergies
    Headaches and migraines
    Insomnia
    Back, neck and shoulder pain
    Sports injuries and many more…

Vaughn is university qualified and a fully accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), and a registered Acupuncture and Chinese medicine practitioner with the Chinese medicine Board of Australia (CMBA). He is a registered provider with all major health funds/insurers.

There is no need to be nervous about acupuncture when you see Vaughn; his treatments are aimed to be as comfortable and effective for the patient as possible, with a focus on gentle needling techniques, breathing and relaxation. Vaughn’s vision is to provide an environment that is nurturing and rewarding for all who step through the door.
